heightec’s RescuePack ROTOR WTG ProSeal Rescue System has been configured to meet the demanding requirements of the renewables sector and is now available with our new ProSeal storage solution. The rescue system is used for vertical rescues, self-evacuation or recovery of a casualty from tall structures, including wind turbines and can lift and lower at any point even under load. The system is fully rated for 2 person descent and supplied in a barrel for ease of storage and transportation which incorporates our ProSeal storage solution. At the core of the wind turbine rescue system is the ROTOR rescue and evacuation descender, an intuitive device which allows self-evacuation automatically limited maximum descent speed or controlled lowering or raising of a casualty. The ROTOR can control rope speed in either direction, meaning that repeated descents can be carried out in quick succession. Included within the kit is an edge protector constructed of durable stainless steel for corrosion resistance for exposed locations. The rescue system is supplied in a robust protective barrel case.
