Description We are pleased to offer on site ultrasonic testing and cylinder maintenance for our customers. Because our testing is done on site, most cylinders can be tested and back to the customer quickly. Ultrasonic testing is a new option as a way to test cylinders. It transmits bursts of ultrasonic energy into the gas cylinder material and monitors the reflection from any flaw that may be there. Some advantages to this form of testing include: -No need to de-valve the cylinder -More proficient at detecting thin walls, pitting and corrosion -Faster turn around time -Able to test steel, aluminum and high strength steel cylinders
