The PIRANHA adjustable lanyard is a compact device with CE/ANSI hook terminations used for work positioning on masts, towers, pylons or other lattice structures in the telecoms, power and entertainment industries. PIRANHA adjustable lanyard ANSI applications: Work positioning when connected to harness side D’s or rear ventral attachment point when level or below the anchor point Work restraint when connected to a correctly positioned anchor NB: Users should always maintain grip of the structure for support when adjusting for work positioning. When used for positioning an additional fall protection system should be used. PIRANHA Features: Can be operated with one hand Efficient cam auto-locks when loaded to prevent any unwanted movement Smooth gradual action enables fine control when paying out or taking in Precise adjustments can be made even when wearing gloves Has a visible high load indicator safety feature, to indicate if it’s been misused Rope sleeve protects against abrasion, sharp edges and contamination Replacement ropes can be purchased and replaced by the user Individual ID number Lengths available: 2m Meets the requirements of EN795 type B. IN ADDITION: If access is required over a large area, the adjustable PIRANHA lanyard can applied as an opposing pair or can be attached to the LASER Temporary Horizontal Anchor Line, temporary allowing independent adjustment of the user’s position in a number directions. Use of screwlinks (certain models) helps eliminate risk of side or cross loads, and can be a semi-permanent attachment if required. NB: This product does not include connectors.
